The move to a press/press glass manufacturing process has been foundational to our continuous improvement efforts. This new system allows us to achieve more precise molding for a higher quality part compared to those made using our previous press/blow process.

Press/press glass manufacturing is ideal for creating intricate designs with tight tolerances, and is a popular technique used for producing small, complex glass parts. With this process shift, we’ve improved our ability to create intricate designs, maintain tighter tolerances, and produce glass parts with a much higher degree of complexity. In addition to the change in our manufacturing process, we’ve bolstered our internal quality control systems to capture critical data for every production batch. This allows for the early identification of defects before they ever reach you or your customers.

Calyx’s signature secondary gasket seal is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is 100% recyclable and produced with zero waste. This layer of protection is standard in all Calyx packaging because it creates a strong vacuum seal to ensure maximum protection against oxygen ingress and product leakage. Optional FEP Liner for Extra Protection

Calyx offers lids with a pre-formed fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) liner that perfectly slots into our lid and gasket, making sealing even stronger. Fluoropolymers like FEP offer superior resistance against chemicals and solvents when compared to other plastics and wasteful foam liners used in competitor solutions.

Fluoropolymers exhibit excellent barrier properties against oxygen and moisture, two elements that can quickly degrade compounds found in concentrate extracts if not properly sealed off from the environment during storage or transportation processes.

Protect your extracts that accidentally turn over in transit with the liner’s pre-formed shape. This serves as a collection pool for your concentrates. Just freeze, remove, and flex the liner to access every last drop.

We put our Concentrate Containers to the test according to USP 671 methods for Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR). Calyx Concentrates consistently perform at less than 100% Moisture Loss per Year, indicating a shelf life of greater than 12 months. This is a 4x improvement compared to some of the most common concentrate containers on the market.

Flexible Sizing for Your Cannabis Concentrates

Our 4mL container works best for 0.5 gram of cannabis concentrates, while the 7mL perfectly contains 1.0 gram all the way up to 3.5 grams, depending on your specific extracts.
